Nursing Facility
The Nursing Facility committee focuses on issues specific to skilled care and nursing home organizations such as reimbursements, regulations, and more. This group gathers for lunch about every quarter at various facilities. Educational credits have been offered during past meetings.
Assisted Living
This committee meets to review activities involved with Assisted Living management and operations. Most recently, we have focused on the new regulations and have been tremendous supports for each other. We have had D.P.W. represented at our meetings and continue to develop a relationship with their staff to share concerns, developments, and suggestions.

Communication, and Education
This committee combines two of the oldest and most active committees of the Consortium – Communications and Education. The group consists of several representatives from different long term care settings. Our projects include the website, C.E.U. events, and other educational presentations with topics ranging from managing adverse events to interpretation of advance health care directives.

Home & Community Services
This committee of the Consortium developed out of an expressed interest of associate members such as home health agencies, ambulance organizations, etc. These members have separate interests to share regarding regulations, operations, and the long term care services as a whole.

Activity Professional Committee
This committee meets to review activities for skilled care, personal/assisted living, and independent living levels of care. The committee meets bi-monthly to exchange ideas and discuss activity programs to enhance the lives of residents and how to meet their preference for activities of choice. The committee discusses regulatory guidelines and how to meet new activity guidelines.
