Life Enrichment (Activities) Manager, Fulltime.
The Garden at Pine Run Health Center is currently seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Manager for our Personal Care home for residents with dementia.
Provides active and passive, group and individual activities, which enhance the mental, physical, spiritual and social needs of residents with memory disorders. Develops a program of activities that promote active involvement with other residents, the resident’s family and the community. Schedules and facilitates activities that respect the resident’s age and support their cognitive abilities. Manages and supervises life enrichment assistants.
Meets with the interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate activity program success.
Completes documentation and assessments for all residents.
Education: High School diploma is required. Additional education in dementia related topics or at least 5 years of working experience in the dementia related field is preferred.
Experience: Experience in a gerontology-related field preferred. Three years of recreational therapy experience is preferred.
